VW - Golf
Manchmal ist ein Schritt zurück auch ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Von der technischen Basis ist er fast noch ein Golf V, doch optisch hat er durch die Besinnung auf gestalterische Elemente des IVer die etwas hochbeinige und verquollene Beliebigkeit abgelegt. Gerade die optische Betonung der Breite durch die geänderten Heckleuchten und der markantere Frontbereich stehen dem Fahrzeug sehr gut und lassen ihn eindeutig als Volkswagen identifizieren. Motorenseitig setzt VW konsequent die begonnene Downsizing-Strategie fort. Hubraumverkleinerung und Zwangsbeatmung mit Turbo und teilweise zusätzlichem Kompressor drücken den Verbrauch und ermöglichen trotzdem gute Fahrleistungen. Früher sagte man mal: Was nicht da ist, kann auch nicht kaputt gehen - ob der Kunde also am Ende wirklich etwas spart, wird die Zukunft zeigen.
